40 million people in the United States experience some sort of hearing loss, but only 15% of these people use hearing aids. Unsupported hearing loss can seriously affect one's quality of life.

This was an 8 week internal project. Leaning on our consumer health tech expertise, the team decided to tackle the new "hearables" market.

This project was the product of a lot of hard work (and sticky notes) on behalf of the team a- Nova is a design and engineering consultancy based in Providence, RI, that specializes in  "connecting the digital and physical through user-centered methodologies."

How might we design a more accessible hearing aid - aesthetically and technologically?
