1819 Innovation Hub

The 1819 Innovation Hub is a University of Cincinnati building, located a short mile away from the heart of campus. It is a powerful resource to all students - yet very few students are actually taking advantage of it.

This was an 8 week project with NIS and the 1819 Innovation Hub. NIS was tasked with conducting extensive ethnographic research to uncover the the reasons many students were not visiting the hub.

Our talented group of NIS students included Vu Pham, Akash Khanikor, Ellis Smith, Sophia Lammi, and myself. We were led by Haley Rich, and supervised by our program director, Aaron Bradley.

How might we uncover barriers for student engagement at 1819?
