The University of Cincinnati takes pride in its focus on "Next Lives Here" and the opportunities it offers all students to engage in innovation... but are all students able to access these innovation opportunities?

Through an intense 6 week design thinking and ecosystem advancement training, our team was challenged to develop and execute a project for our higher education system that we decided should align with UC's Next Lives Here pillars.

My teammates (and best friends) are Maxwell Kemats, and Yale Miller. We are all members of the 2nd cohort of NEXT Innovation Scholars, and are University Innovation Fellows representing the University of Cincinnati. Learn more about Max and Yale here!

Use landscape research to determine all the opportunities that students currently have to engage in innovation and uncover barriers to student engagement

Using our findings, generate possible solutions to create more or new opportunities for all students to engage in innovative projects + practices.

Once our direction is validated and prepared, we will bring it to live in the UC ecosystem.
